Women’s Spring Retreat, April 28-29, 2023. at Camp Courage, 8046 St NW, Maple Lake, MN 55358, starting with Registration at 5:00, Dinner at 6:00 and ending Saturday evening at 7:30.

Taste and See that the Lord is Good is an open invitation to an experience of Jesus which then leads to the invitation of a lifestyle of intimacy with Him. Tasting His goodness changes your capacity to receive, increases your hunger for a greater experience of His love, and brings a heavenly perspective to your circumstances.

We come together to receive, rest, rejoice, pray, worship, eat, repent, and have fun. All women are invited to bring their friends.

Elle Roetzel, our keynote speaker, is passionate about leading women into an encounter with Jesus that reveals their worth, restores relationship, and releases them into their purpose. She shares of her encounter of Christ’s love that healed the pain, shame, brokenness of her abortion, divorce, and death of her second husband to cancer. Rather than these circumstances leaving her a victim, each became her invitation toward Jesus.

She created an online abortion healing course, Unlocked Healing, for women to receive healing and then arise as a powerful testimony to bring healing to the nations. She has written several books, journals, and Bible studies which include, Bridal Redemption, her testimony of Jesus’ healing love and I’m Brave Like David, Right?, a children’s book about the power of God’s Word to overcome fear.

Workshops:

· Join Kari Mitchell in crafting a unique and personalized truth-packed book for yourself or as a gift. It’s sure to be a treasured keepsake! Pages would include: Truth about God, You, Faith, Hope, Love, God’s Promises, Life. (Friday night only)

· "Date Day with Jesus"-- Heather Kurrle who says, “Your true love yearns for a date day with you! I'll even show you where He says it in Scripture. An old command that we've sadly forgotten, could be your life changing move of the year!”

· “Taming the Tongue” -- Sandy Dalbec. Psalm 34:12-13 gives us the wonderful promise that we can experience a good life filled with many more good days than bad days. God is that he cannot lie. How wonderful is that?! Let us search the scriptures and find out how to PRACTICALLY receive the fulfillment of this assurance. God has made the gospel simple so we can comprehend and live it out.

· “Clothing Ourselves in Christian Virtues” -- Jan Schneider. It’s as though the words of Colossians 3:12-13 were written to us today. They actually were! They date back to the first century, but they fit this century like a well-tailored garment. They touch every aspect of our being. The words address our position in Christ and our practice on earth. They specify our struggles without overlooking the important, positive side of compassion, kindness, forgiveness, patience, humility and gentleness.

We will also have small group activities scheduled indoors and outdoors on Saturday afternoon.
